1 . TIPS FOR BEGINNERS. 

It is important for those who interested with calligraphy to know about the rules in the correct way right ? Don't worry guys  😄 ! Here some tips for you . Enjoy it :) 

 

For western Calligraphy , the learners should know how to control their handwriting either use the less or more presurre and use suitable  up and down stroke .

It is important to arabic calligraphy's beginner to understand  the dots or nuqta by using the suitable pen / Qalam . The dots or nuqta  plays a vital role in this calligraphy because it will determine your handwriting . One of the tips is you must train yourself to write the dots looks like diamond shape . 

The way to use the pen also is important for beginners . For arabic calligraphy , you should hold the pen in 45⋄

The video above will give you a good first step to chinese calligraphy . It emphasizes about the suitable tool  and shows the basic stroke for chinese calligraphy . 

2. TOOLS FOR CALLIGRAPHY

By choosing a suitable tool for calligraphy , it will help to improve your artwork . Here  , I will provide some videos to you about the suitable tool for each type of calligraphy exclude for the chinese calligraphy . It is because the previous  tip for chinese calligraphy's video had  already show the tools .

 Sometimes , the tools of western calligraphy are very popular among us like paper , brush pen , nib and others , but it is better to use a good quality for each tool . So , it will made your handwriting 

looks beautiful :)

For best results , arabic calligraphy should be written using special calligraphy pens or qalam/bamboo but it's okay for the learners especially for beginners to use normal pen / pencil first . When you are already skilled with  the handwriting , then you can proceed to use  the other next types of tools.

3. EXAMPLES OF CALLIGRAPHY TUTORIAL

There are many styles and fonts of calligraphy that we can try in our artwork .

There are too many types or fonts for western calligraphy . You can practice and try all these types of western  easily because the way of handwriting for  most of fonts look similarly and just slightly different .

 One of the familiar font used in Arabic calligraphy is  naskh font because it is one of the basic font and it also used  in form of writing the holy Quran . But , there are many fonts or type of arabic calligraphy  that should you know such as kufi , Diwani , Farisi and so on.

Most types of Chinese calligraphy comes from  the traditional art of  handwriting . Although  its from many years ago , the calligraphy is still use in this modern era . What interesting is ,each different types of Chinese calligraphy has its own function like to use in formal letter or others.
